I have the following system:

HTPC:
Dual 2 Core 2.4GHZ
3 Hard Drives 1x1tb 1x250Gig 1x160Gig
1x POrtbale hard Drive 400Gig
Radeon 4670D Video Card
Windows 7 Ultimate RC Build 7100(Awaiting Retail Version)
Memory 2560MB (soon to be upgraded)
BGT 3540 BDA Card
Linksys DMA 2100 Windeows media center extennder
Technomate 1500 CI+ Super STB (used for driving Dish)
80cm Motorised Dish
DCBDream With Vplug and Wincsc Plugins

What I want to do is the following:
1) Use the HTPC to watch Satellite content
2) Be able to use card sharing servers. I will be looking at "Buying" cardshare as I do not have one myself.
3) Stream the decrypted channels to my extender.

There are a few other things I want to do but I think they are outside the scope of this communty.

I have at the moment scanned the Satellites that I can get,and am able to watch channels via DVBDream and use the softcams.

What is the best protocol to use?
Should I build a Linux server as a Virtual Machine?
Are the premium Card Sharing sites ok?
Are there some nice people out there that would assist me with this by allowing me to connect and test my rig!!!(This I know is a massive question.IAM NOT LOOKING TO RIP ANYONE OFF JUST A QUICK TEST DEMO SO THAT IT IS RIGHT FIRST TIME)

I would be grateful if I could gain a little knowledge and a push in the the right direction as to how to do these things.

Please appreciate I am a complete novice, so talk to me like I was a 7 Year Old!!!!!!

Please note I am a member of a lot of forums under the same name and I will be posting this question elsewhere. This is not to try and trick people, I am just working on the principle of trying to gather as much imformation as possible so that I can make the right decision first time.
