Can anyone give a simple step by step guide to download cardinfo on my CT9000.

Please give some more info, i think you mean how to start cardsharing with the CT 9000.
First of al you need to install another image to your box, the standard image will not be able to download the EMU function.

That is what I ment. I have already dowloaded a couple of other skins, what would be my next step? Is there a special feature I should look for in the plugins list?

The most used EMU software is the CCcam, the best image to use is the PLI.
With PLI you can easely download the CCcam pluging from the aplications menu.

I already got PLI with CCcam I think, because I use one card slot for my CanalDigital card. At least I found the CCcam installed.

Yes, sharing means "to share your local card". On this forum there is a section for share requesting, you write here with card you share and with share you would like to find. When there is someone who would like to share with you C-lines needs to be exchanged, the c-line are written in de cfg. file in the var\etc location in your receiver.
