Newbie question about CCCam syntax.
Hi all,
I have 2 questions... please help:
1) What is differerence between:
F: user pass 5 0 1
and
F: user pass 5 1 0
2)
Can I reshare my local card up to 8 levels down while resharing all other non local only 2 levels down ? What would be syntax for that ?
Thanks

The difference is that with a 5 1 0 the user is entitled to receive keys. This is used when you have a C line with "yes" at the end. It's for sharing keys to clients and with the 1 in the middle you can determine if they may receive a key update or not. Provided you supply key updates ofcourse.
However, it is strongly advised not to do so over the internet. This is fine over the Lan, but if you have a bunch of clients this will use lots of data.
2.) I'm not sure anymore but if I'm correct you can only share 7 levels down, not 8.
Yes you can share your local card up to 7 levels down while sharing non local only 2 levels down. If you want the syntax for this, have a look at the emu section on CCcam and read the sticky's, there are nice howto's for this already online. But I will give you an example:
F: username password 5 0 1 { 0:0:2, 0100:00006C:7 }
This way you share 2 levels down, but the TVV Vlaanderen card is shared 7 levels down.
