Thread: Dreambox 800HD clone from china

i'm new to this forum
i buy a dreambox800HD from ... in china
they use DHL , after 3 days i get the pacakge , i'm very Surprise, they install Gemini 4.4 the bootloader is 75 ! it use new SIM card, does anyone use this new box ?

yeah i have a dm8oo clone to but with bl73 and i have downgrade it to bl72 and i am running nabilo black hole on it.
please dont make the mistake to install an unpached img on there !! because drivers for tuner and cardreader are not the same as an original box

but tell me is your remote control working perfect or not ?

yesterday i calling the dreambox800 HD manufature in china
they will be release i software update the bootloader

the new version dreambox from that manufature boot loader is 75, i have been buy some box from them

Where did you buy it and what is the price?

I have bought it at ... for 230 usd.

picture is ok, no green screens at the hd chanels because of a heatsink on the processor but the remote is bad responding........ i have already made hardware mod to make it work say 90% ok
mine was deliverd with bl73 4 weeks ago.

now at the manufactory no info's on bl75........ latest working bl on clone is 72.... be ware of this seller
probably the sim is bl72 or 73 wit non working bl75 divers build in or a dm600 sim has bin put in there.

Aaaah, I see. So if I get this right, you can place original Dreambox firmware (or PLi) in this Dreambox? In that case I might buy one also
I've got a real Dreambox 800HD now, but I'd like to have one extra

hahaha clone is not original mate, original image works if you change tuner drivers and cardreader drivers if you dont the box crashes.
and the sim as you know from original is not in a clone........... this sim you cant update and original software recognise it as clone and crashes....... so the bootloader also mustbe changed.

in short you need a patched img to get the clone to work.

if i were you don't buy a clone....... i have one but it is a shit box!!
