Thread: How to upgrade a Quadro LNB to 5 LNBs.

Dear friends.
I have a Visiosat disk with a Quadro LNB installation. Hotbird 13e Astra 19e Astra 23.5 e and Astra 28e.
I know that there is an option to install an additional LNB for Eurobird 9e, just using the resident LNB holder and steel piece before upgrading to Quadro.
Everything is on place, and Eurobird gives a good signal to my satellite finder device.
However I have a problem.
I got a 8/1 switch , where I can plugg in de 5 LNB cables, but my MVsion 300 HD combo NET decoder does not have 8 ports configuration, but only 4 Disecq
So I can not assign to the configuration the 5e port to Eurobird, because it does not exists.
I detected there are also commited and uncommited port options, and using the Disecq 1.20 with the motor , it is possible to scann the corresponding LNB, ( such kind of simulator, because I do not have a satellite motor). However I can not get the Eurobird 9e, but Hotbird or Astra 28 corresponding channels to the Eurobird frequences.
The Eurobird 9E LNB is situated beside the Hotbird LBN one, just a little bit elevated.
Who can help me in this ?

Use DiSEqC 1.1. which allows switching between up to 16 LNB's. But you have to use a Diseqc switch 1.1., 1.2., 2.1. or 2.2.
