Thread: Hello Advice needed

hello there, sorry if i sound stupid but im a total noob to this and dont really understand, I am currently running 3 starview cable boxes in my house and i have seen and heard a lot about cline and boxes. i am totaly confused and dont know what it is?

Can somebody please explain, i am thinking of buying a box they seem rather cheap but is it a sattelite box or cable? what do i connect to and how do i get channels?, will i need a card?

as you can see im a total noob... any advice appreciated, Thanks in advance

1. The boxes are featured with internet connection

This allows you to use a sharing modulator like CCcam. Basically its sharing your cards with other people online. Sharing is done by exchanging C-lines with other members here and exists of your box's serverip, portnumber and username/password.

2. You can use sharing modulators on both cable boxes and sat boxes.

You say sharing my cards, I have been promised a plug and play box - will that have cards , also if its asigned to my ip how can i share?
