Thread: help please

Hi all,
i got a new router/modem from my provider and i can't seem to get online.
Can somebody help please to see if i'm online or not? i'm strugling with this problem for allmost a month now.

I have a docsis modem/router with wireless transmission and when i look at the page from my provider, i can't see wich port is open or not (21 - 80).

If you connect to your box then a port is not needed.
Or can't you not log into your box?

when i try to see on the page if for example port 10000 is open or not they say that they can't see the port. but my modem is ab all in one modem, if that helps? i got an linux computer and when i recorded a movie, i can get it to my hard drive without a problem, but when i contact somebody for cardsharing, i get a message that my C-line is offline.

The page i meanth was "canyouseeme.org" and when i type my IPadress (for example 192.168.0.1 or 0.101/16001) i get the page error "cant find page", so i cant get to log into my box.

is it possible that when i connect my old router to this new modem that the old router takes over from the new modem? can it be that i get connected without making changes on my new modem?

No its not working.
You can instal them but I don't no how its working whit your router.
